The neckline is collarless, so nothing fights a scarf or the collar of whatever goes over it, and the front closes with buttons. Two large patch pockets sit at the hips. Contrasting fabric trims the edges and reinforces the elbow panels, the same places a liner wears through first, and the contrast gives the charcoal body some visual break.
