The 14oz cloth comes off old shuttle looms, which leaves the uneven, rough-textured surface the brand has built its name on, and it behaves differently from indigo alone as it wears. The color deepens toward a darker cast while the contrast across the surface grows stronger, so the jeans get more dramatic rather than lighter. The OCE-002 puts that denim on the Piped Wide Straight, a new wider fit we've been begging for, for years.
