This check is either a reproduction of a fabric that was around when we first started carrying Indigofera or something very close to it, and we have thought about this color combination on and off ever since. Charcoal, beige, rust, and turquoise should not work together as well as they do. The turquoise is the move, a cool note dropped into a warm, earthy palette, and it lifts the whole thing out of standard flannel territory. It disappeared fast the first time around for exactly that reason, and we expect this run to go the same way. The cloth is a heavyweight cotton flannel, brushed so the nap stands up and holds a layer of warm air against the body, and the weight means the shirt works as a light jacket over a tee as readily as it does buttoned up as a shirt. Two chest flap pockets keep it rooted in the work shirt it comes from.
