These comp wool ump pants are built around the silhouette of traditional umpire trousers, highlighted by an oversized pocket that runs from the waist through the hip. The fabric is a compressed wool jersey made from ring yarn, then finished with high heat and pressure to create a dense, structured surface. Ring yarn is formed by twisting wool around a strong core yarn, stabilizing the wool while maintaining a soft, resilient hand. The result has the visual firmness of Melton with a noticeably softer, more flexible feel. Functional, distinctive, and grounded in classic sportswear construction.

Fit Notes: The nice thing about this style of pants is that you can wear a variety of sizes depending on the intended fit. Tommy snagged a large in all the pants this round. He wanted them to fit with that intended roomy and flowy feel. While these are tapered in the leg, they generally have plenty of room in the thighs. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
