SP-110S - 16oz "Kaki-Kyoku" Extreme Slub 45th Anniversary Selvedge Denim - Regular Straight

The SP-110S celebrates Studio D’Artisan’s 45th anniversary with a standout fabric that pushes texture to the limit. Woven from slub-laden yarns on vintage shuttle looms, the 16 oz “Kaki-Kyoku” selvedge denim is packed with irregularity-twisting, tapering, and bulging in a way that gives the fabric an intensely rugged, three-dimensional surface. The name itself (“Kaki-Kyoku,” roughly translated to "Ultimate Persimmon") says it all. Despite its visual heft, the denim is surprisingly wearable from day one thanks to a one-wash treatment. True to the brand’s roots, it’s finished with contrast stitching, hidden back pocket rivets, a goatskin leather patch featuring a 45th anniversary graphic, and red selvedge ID. A collector’s piece that’s built to be thrashed.

Fit Notes: These fit like a traditional pair of Studio D'artisan, which is smaller than most brands. Tommy is wearing a 34 which is his normal size. They fit exactly as he would've expected a regular straight to fit. They were perfect in the waist with plenty of room in the thigh and leg. If you get the waist right, the rest should fall in line. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
