01-1050XX-81k - The 1950s Selvedge Denim - One Wash

The 105XX was created to mark orSlow’s 20th anniversary, and it’s not just a cosmetic update to the standard 105. This pair is a closer, more deliberate recreation of early 1950s denim, built with period-correct materials and details that simply aren’t present on the regular run. The denim itself is woven on vintage shuttle looms using yarn spun on a 1953 spinning machine, giving it a different texture and character right from the start.

Compared to the standard 105, the XX version features a leather patch instead of paper, a four-button fly, pink ID selvedge, and clean copper rivets throughout. The fit stays familiar but is subtly adjusted, with a slightly roomier top block, a touch more rise, and a marginally wider leg from thigh to hem. Finished in a one-wash to remove shrinkage and soften the fabric, these are meant to be worn immediately while still aging beautifully over time. It’s a small-run, anniversary-level execution of one of orSlow’s most important silhouettes.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a (3) in the pictures. He's found that he can wear a (2) or (3) in almost every fit, but prefers a little more room in all orSlow denim. They were a great fit in the waist with a tailored, yet comfortable fit in the leg. We would recommend sizing up once. He is 5'9" 165lbs with between a 33-34" waist.
