The 1950's Type II Jacket is orSlow's take on the original 507xx (Type 2) denim jacket introduced in 1953. The 507xx was famously worn throughout Hollywood by musicians and movie stars (now would be a good time to go watch Badlands starring Martin Sheen) which launched the denim jacket into a fashion icon forever. orSlow pulls no punches on this one, making a historically accurate and easily worn jacket that harkens back to one of the coolest eras of American fashion. Like a well-fitting leather jacket, it's hard not to feel cool in a well-worn jean jacket.

Fit Notes: The orSlow Type II jacket runs small by our standards - this is majorly in part to its short hem. Tommy is seen wearing a size (3) here. If you want that vintage look and are cool with the shorter hem, start with a size (3) as if it were a smaller medium and work from there. Tommy would likely purchase a size (4 or 5) in this unit and go with a very oversized look. He is 5'9", 165lbs with a 41" chest.
