Iron Heart’s 14oz black-on-black western shirt is built from their signature selvedge denim - this time using both a black rope-dyed warp and a black sulfur-dyed weft. The result is a jet-black base that will fade with wear into a high-contrast grey, revealing the depth and texture of the denim beneath. At 14oz, this fabric is on the heavier end for shirting, offering a structured feel that borders on light jacket territory. The western cut features front and back yoke detailing, Permex snap buttons, and selvedge accents at the gussets, cuffs, and placket. Finished with chainstitch runoff, triple-needle construction, and Iron Heart’s unmatched build quality, this is a year-round staple that evolves beautifully over time.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size XL in the pictures. He's been sizing up an extra size lately and loving it. At a bare minimum, we recommend sizing up at least once...and that's if you like them slim. If you already know your Iron Heart size, stick with that. If you don't, please read the size charts and stick with the size-up rule. Tommy is 5'10," 160lbs with a 40" chest.
