Dant x Dehen - Club Jacket - All Black

The Club Jacket is much more than a piece of outerwear. It symbolizes transition and evolution from one stage of life to the next. We like to think of Dehen's Varsity jacket silhouette as the final style transition into true adulthood. This club jacket is the all-wool version of the varsity that "adultifies" the style even further. Every guy should own one of these and wear it until the day they cross the rainbow bridge.

We decided it was time to come back for round two, and this time...all black was the only way to go. We wanted a jacket that crossed all fashion genres, and we think this might be it. To be honest, since this was a second production, we literally just said "Take our old design and black it out." While simple in concept, this stealthy beauty is anything but in practice. We think it goes with everything but also elevates every outfit. The 24oz melton wool covers the entire jacket for a stunning monochromatic effect. 

The interior was another no-brainer. We always opt for a quilted liner as it's the warmest and most visually striking to us. It's sleek and sexy and all the things we want the interior of a jacket to be. 

We can't forget the beautiful collaboration tag featured just below the inner, leather welt pocket. In this round, we decided specifically to go with a satin finish patch to mimic the interiors of the jacket with just a little pop of color for the Gargoyle. It's honestly the only other color on the jacket, and a wonderful little "easter egg" when you open the jacket. This is the first thing we designed with the new Dant branding in hand. 

It's a limited, exclusive run for Dant as part of the "Black & Tan" collection. If past experience has proven anything, Dehen Jackets don't stick around, let alone a custom one. We've worked very hard to make this baby a sleek, stealthy piece to resonate with a broad swath of customers. We hope you love it!

Fit Notes: Our first impression is that Dehen fits with a more American cut (i.e. larger). We've been proven wrong with the past few pieces though. We would say this brand has one of the truest fits on the market if that's possible. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in the pictures. He can wear a medium if he so chooses, but for a roomier look he always goes with a large. We would recommend sticking with your true size on this jacket unless you want a boxy fit. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
