13.6oz - All Natural Ecru Foxfibre® Selvedge - Weird Guy

The All Natural Ecru Foxfibre® Selvedge is something special—13.6oz Japanese selvedge denim that skips the bleach and dye, relying instead on the natural beauty of organic cotton. The warp is pure, unbleached cotton, while the weft is made from Foxfibre®, a rare strain of naturally colored cotton developed by Sally Fox. This cotton grows in warm, earthy tones straight from the field, sourced from a single Texas farm dedicated to sustainable organic farming. With wear and washing, the Foxfibre® weft darkens, shifting into an even richer shade, creating a subtle evolution across the twill lines. Brown neps throughout add texture, while a brown Foxfibre® selvedge ID ties it all together. Finished with a natural veg-tanned leather patch that picks up character over time, contrast stitching, a button fly, and silver metallic hardware. We've seen Foxfibre® in quite a few forms, but never like this. They've turned this wonder cotton into something no one can yet say they have in their wardrobe.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 waist in these. Even at 13.6oz, these still have a fair amount of starch that gives a wonderful shape to the denim. He decided to go 33 for all three of the straighter fits. He could likely wear a 34 in this, but the 33 fit really well. It was great in the waist with just a bit of taper to the ankle. You can likely buy your true size in this denim. Tommy is 5'10", 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
