The fabric, nicknamed “Beta Chambray,” is produced on vintage shuttle looms at low tension, giving it a slightly irregular weave and a lived-in hand that feels both breathable and sturdy. This name is derived from "Beta-na" which can be used to describe something uniform, or plain. Oni’s wide straight fit anchors the piece with a high rise, generous thigh, and straight leg that offers room and drape without excess. Traditional denim details remain intact, from riveted pockets and donut buttons to a leather patch and selvedge accents, tying this lightweight chambray back to the brand’s rugged roots.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 34 in these pants. The 200 silhouette is their second widest cut, meaning you don't really have to worry about any measurement other than the waist. Get that right, and you should be a-ok on the rest of the fit. He admittedly had extra room in the waist, but nothing he can't handle in a roomier fit. Tommy is 5'10," 161lbs, with a 33-34" waist.
