The Citrus Kasuri Weft Selvedge is a 14oz Japanese selvedge denim distinguished by its intricate weft dyeing technique. Beneath the indigo surface lies a vibrant interior created using traditional Kasuri methods, where sections of yarn are bound and selectively dyed before weaving. Rather than inserting solid-colored weft yarns, the Kasuri process creates alternating yellow and green segments along the same yarn, producing an organic, irregular pattern running through the interior of the fabric.

As the indigo warp fades and abrasions develop, the citrus-toned weft gradually reveals itself through the surface. The effect starts subtle and becomes more pronounced as the denim breaks in, creating a layered fade that feels completely unique to this fabric. Because Kasuri dyeing is extremely labor-intensive, denim woven this way is rarely produced, making the material itself as distinctive as it is expressive.
