D4603 - 15oz "Sou-Ai" Selvedge - Type II Jacket

Studio D’Artisan’s D4603 is the Type II counterpart to their standout D1894S jeans, cut from a one-of-a-kind 15oz denim woven with a red cast warp and a green cast weft. The result is a subtle tonal tension that sets this fabric apart from anything else on the market - especially once fades begin to develop. It's a dense but breathable denim with crisp hand feel and rich visual depth, crafted in Japan from natural indigo-dyed yarns. The jacket is built with classic Type II details like knife-pleated front panels and side tab adjustments. SDA keeps the silhouette boxy like we like it. Finished with branded  buttons and contrast stitching, this is a rare take on heritage denim from one of Japan’s most storied labels. At this point, it's hard to distinguish favorites because everything Studio makes is art, but this one is a special fabric.

Fit Notes: Studio has a really trim fit in general. Tommy is wearing a 42 in this jacket which fits how he was expecting. It's super similar to other type ii's we've seen from the brand before. Boxy in the body, perfect length in the arms, and cut at the waist. Tommy is 5'10," 162lbs with a 40" chest.
