Lot 2234 - Rocky Mountain x Warehouse Nylon Down Vest - Bottle Green

Built in collaboration with RMFB, this vest channels a sharp 1970s alpine silhouette with the kind of materials that make vintage originals so addictive. The outer shell is cut from classic Christy taffeta nylon, a fabric prized for its slick surface, subtle sheen, and surprising toughness. It’s lightweight, blocks wind effortlessly, and wears beautifully as it picks up character over time.

The leather yoke is rendered in premium horsehide, adding structure and contrast while elevating the vest beyond standard nylon builds. Inside, a 90/10 down fill delivers serious warmth without bulk, making this an ideal layering piece for cold, wet conditions. It’s the kind of vest that feels rooted in mountaineering history but slots easily into everyday wear, equal parts functional and iconic. Our favorite part of these vests has to be the color. We've carried them year-on-year because we love the silhouette, but we don't think any colors have carried the nylon fabric quite like this seasons traditional tech fabric colors.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy learned long ago to size up in these vests. He's wearing a size 44 or XL in the pictures. He normally wears a size Large, so this is one size up for him. They run very small, so we recommend you do the same. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
