N-1 Deck Jacket - Burnt Orange, Brown

The N-1 Jacket has very quickly become something we can hardly keep in stock. You guys asked for it, and we had to deliver. We simply couldn't resist this incredible burnt orange color. We have a bit of an obsession with vibrant colors on traditional silhouettes. This is that jacket that everyone stops and asks about. We just want to stare at it all day. It's pretty stiff competition at the shop between jungle cloth and waxed canvas...so you'll have to be the decider. The waxed canvas is making a hell of a case for itself. We can't stress how warm this jacket is. When it is frigid, this is the jacket we go to. When we want to guarantee the cold weather doesn't get in, this is the jacket we reach for. And it looks so damn good that we wind up wearing it even when the cold isn't blistering. 

The influence of WWII on our American culture is alive and well 70+ years later.  Dehen 1920 has introduced its very own and very special version of the Naval N-1 Deck Jacket. Constructed of a 10.10 oz. waxed canvas outer shell with a luxurious mouton fur lining, this jacket represents the very best they have to offer.  Warmer and more substantial than anything in its class, this garment is built to last a lifetime. We can attest, this is the warmest thing in our closet.

• Mouton fur lining and collar
• 6-Button placket-front closure with hidden #10 brass zipper with canvas pull
• Added inner left chest pocket with same #10 brass zipper and canvas pull
• 100% wool knit cuff
• Undercollar zig-zag stitching and neck closure
• Eyelets at underarm

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Our first impression is that Dehen fits with a more American cut (i.e. larger). We've been proven wrong with the past few pieces though. We would say this brand has one of the truest fits on the market if that's even possible. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in the pictures. This is a roomy fit for him, which is what he's going for. If you want a more traditional, tailored look, go for your normal size. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
