SJST26-102L - "Winter is Coming" 3cm Longer Heavyweight T-Shirt - Ankoh Red

The Samurai Jeans SJST26-102 is built on the brand's original heavyweight loopwheel fabric, knitted on the Daimaru circular knitting machine that has been in use in Japan since the early 20th century. The slow, meticulous knitting process produces a rich, warm texture with the kind of comfortable, lived-in hand that only loopwheel construction can deliver. The binder neck is finished with a special three-needle, one-drop stitch for added durability and a clean, precise edge. This iteration runs 3cm longer than the standard version, giving it a slightly more relaxed, oversized length that suits the graphic and the silhouette. That graphic draws from the work of Utagawa Kuniyoshi, the Edo-period woodblock print artist whose fierce, dynamic warrior compositions made him one of Japan's most celebrated illustrators virtually overnight. The image adapted here depicts a general on horseback, great axe in hand, riding hard through snow at the head of his forces, rendered with the raw energy and visual charge that defined Kuniyoshi's work and has kept it alive for centuries.

Fit Notes: Normally, t-shirts run pretty small from Samurai. Tommy chose to wear an XL for the photoshoot, and that paid off. He really appreciated the extra room in the body. We would recommend sizing up at least once from what you normally wear. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
