The Yurai Type II Jacket from Tanuki is built from one of the most distinctive fabrics in their lineup: a 16.5oz natural indigo selvedge denim woven with a cobalt-dyed weft. This fabric has a cool, luminous tone that changes with the light, giving the piece a quietly electric presence. The loose weave and fuzzy, textured hand create a soft, broken-in feel that contrasts with the jacket’s rugged construction. As it wears in, the indigo-dyed warp lightens dramatically while the cobalt weft stays bold, producing wild, high-contrast fades that are totally unique to this fabric. Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 42 in the pictures. These are fitting a bit more true to what we're used to seeing in a Type II. He has been wearing a large from most brands and that correlates to how these fit. We would recommend you size up one from what you normally wear, or buy your standard size if you know Tanuki. Tommy is 5'10," 162lbs with a 40" chest.
