Mountain Lodge Down Jacket - Mocha

We've been looking for an outerwear brand specializing in down for quite some time. When we stumbled upon Nanga on our last visit to Japan, we couldn't help but to wonder if one day they would make it to the States. To our surprise, they were at the very next show we attended. The product is as good in person as it looks online! Their colors are out of this world with a lot of the garments having an almost translucent effect. It's what visually drew us to the brand from the start. 

Nanga built the Mountain Lodge Down Jacket as a packable cold-weather layer with serious insulation for its weight. Made from 10dn recycled nylon Lips fabric, the shell has that soft, fine, high-density texture unique to ultralight nylon while staying strong enough for repeat compression. Inside is 860FP SPDX Polish goose down (93/7), chosen for exceptional loft and warmth with minimal bulk. The three-dimensional arm construction gives you range where it matters, and the relaxed silhouette makes layering effortless. The jacket includes three exterior pockets, an interior pocket, elastic bindings at the cuffs and hem, and a storm-flap-backed zipper with reflective cord pulls. It’s fully packable into its own pocket and finished with a reflective chest logo for visibility. Built as a unisex piece, it’s the kind of jacket that feels as technical as it does comfortable.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a Japanese XL in this piece. He tends to need more room in the lighter weight, packable options. So we recommend sizing up once from what you normally wear in Japanese brands. Tommy is 5'9," 162lbs with a 40" chest.
