1914W - 17oz "Amami Mud-Dyed" Brown Sashiko Jeans - Regular Straight

The Studio D'Artisan 1914W Amami Mud-Dyed Sashiko Jeans in brown are the second colorway in this limited series, and the color itself is the story. Where the dark brown reads deep and muted, this version lands in a rich, warm clay tone that carries a genuine earthiness unique to the dorozome process and the specific iron content of the mud used on Amami Oshima. The same 17oz Bushu sashiko fabric woven on old shuttle looms, the same 1,300-year-old mud-dyeing tradition, but a completely different feeling on the body and in the light. The slightly powdery hand from the dye process will soften with wear, and the patina this clay tone develops over time is something we're genuinely excited to see. Natural corozo nut button fly, copper rivets, raised belt loops, chain stitched hem, and a custom embossed SDA leather patch throughout.

Fit Notes: These have that standard Regular Straight cut we love from Studio, so Tommy is wearing his standard size of 34. We recommend buying your normal Studio size if you know it and go up once if you don't. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
