"Beer" Faded Print Sweat Hoodie - PD Sumikuro

This piece uses a combination of crack rubber printing and pigment printing, followed by pigment processing and bio-washing, to create real visual depth rather than a flat surface print. As the garment wears, the print naturally fades and breaks down, revealing the kind of character you normally only see on true vintage pieces that have been around for decades.

The fabric is a Raffi Sinker fleece, built from “filling,” the short cotton fibers typically removed and discarded during spinning. A controlled percentage of this filling is blended back into the yarn, increasing strength while creating natural surface irregularity. Knitted to size on a vintage circular knitting machine, the fleece shows this uneven texture clearly, giving it an unmistakable old American feel. The fabric is finished using a rare circular brushing technique that only a handful of mills still practice. Reusing filling also reduces waste, making this fabric an ethical and environmentally considerate project.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in this sweatshirt. These don't have quite the boxy fit afforded by a lot of their t-shirts. We would say it fits more in line with garments from its sister company, Warehouse. Snag at a minimum one size up if you want a traditional fit, and two sizes if you want a comfortable fit. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
