15oz Skein Dyed Slubby Blue Indigo Selvedge Jeans - Slim Straight Fit

Graph Zero has been on our list since their collaboration with Tanuki a few years ago. We had never heard of the brand and it was one hell of an introduction, so we had been on the lookout for the brand ever since. When we heard they would be making the trip to America to show off the line, we expected great things...but we weren't expecting them to have some of the most unique fabrics in the game. Once we learned that they started as a fabric store, it all fell into place. These guys know their stuff, from textures to dyeing techniques that bring out the richness of indigo as we've never seen. 

Graph Zero's 15oz Kase Dyed Blue Indigo Slim Straight Jeans are a testament to traditional Japanese denim craftsmanship. Utilizing the Kasezome (skein dyeing) technique, the warp threads are dyed in rich bluecast indigo hues, while the unbleached natural weft threads contribute to a unique, slubby texture. Woven on vintage looms at ultra-low tension, this unsanforized denim is one-washed to remove shrinkage, ensuring a comfortable fit from the start. The slim straight cut offers a modern silhouette, complemented by details such as a solid orange selvedge ID, selvedge coin pocket, red tab, custom Japanese pocket lining, and a premium cowhide leather patch. Over time, the deep indigo will fade distinctively, reflecting the wearer's journey.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 34 in this slim fit. With the slimmer leg opening, he wanted to size up once to get a roomier cut. If you like a slim jean, you might be able to stick with your true size, but we still recommend sizing up once on these.  Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 33-34" waist.
