03-5247-76 - M-47 French Army Cargo Pants - Army Green

If you're looking for a faithful reproduction of the M-47 work pant, this might be the one for you. Even if you're not looking for that, this still may be the perfect cargo for you. This is quite a bit heavier than the other cargos in the lineup. That herringbone has a good heft and the heavy-duty pocket twill make these feel like an entirely different pant. It makes it more of a Fall/Winter pant, which is something we've personally been looking for. We really dig this period correct buttons on these and the color they've chosen for the details. They also have an adjustable hem, which we personally choose not to use, but you can do you, my friends. We like it more as an accessorizing detail than anything. There's a little patched double-knee action to give the front of the pant even more character. The last stand-out detail to us is that these are button fly. We see zippers so often in these vintage pants that. it was a welcome change to have a button closure. If you missed out on the 6-pocket, these are an equal companion that we highly recommend snagging early.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a (2) in these. We found these to fit similarly to the Vintage 6-Pocket Cargo, but just a bit tighter in the waist due to the rise. It was a bit of a squeeze to get the (2) over his waist, so he may personally buy a (3)f - it's kind of a toss-up. Otherwise, they fit great everywhere. He is 5'10," 175lbs with between a 33-34" waist.
