Fullcount's 1129-6 work pants are built from a heavy 100% cotton duck canvas, dyed using traditional persimmon tannin techniques known as kakishibu. That dyeing process, done in Shiga Prefecture, not only gives the pants their earthy tone but also adds functional benefits: increased durability, natural antibacterial properties, and water resistance. The wide silhouette is inspired by early 20th-century workwear, featuring a mid-rise and generous room through the leg. Details like a crotch rivet, copper buttons, and rivet-reinforced pockets help round out the rugged build. Over time, exposure to sunlight, heat, and rain will cause the color to deepen and darken, creating a distinctive patina unique to each wearer. The duck canvas has been sanforized to reduce shrinkage, but still retains the density and character expected of true utility garments.
