Our long-awaited partnership with Post O'Alls has finally come to fruition. As we transition into a Post Heritage version of James Dant, one that doesn't shirk the traditional ways of manufacturing but accepts newer, more contemporary silhouettes...it only makes sense to work with a brand like Post O'Alls. Since its origin in 1993, this brand has been taking iconic American silhouettes and giving them a little extra. In the more recent past, this started to translate to a more modern form of garments. In a world full of "perfect fits" they were offering roomy silhouettes that drape perfectly but don't have to stick to you to look good. It may not be what "Post Overalls" stands for, but we like to think of the "Post" as meaning "after" and the "O'Alls" as meaning heritage. They've evolved beyond the ideals of traditional American menswear into a genre of their own. 

One of the things we got most excited about for FW23 was the opportunity to broaden our pant horizons both metaphorically and literally. This is essentially Post O'alls fatigue pant, even though they're not calling it that. There are some obvious differences in the angled front patch pockets and the bar tacks used throughout. They also have a cinch back wich isn't part of a standard fatigue. But that is what some people will recognize them as seeing that they're also made of sateen. Post describes them as a "lost" model meant to accompany the 1204 Army Shirt. They were worn from the 1910s-1930s. What we really enjoy about these, as we do with everything they make, is that it can be modernized so easily with the rest of the collection. Something worn 80-100 years ago can be made to feel contemporary, and we'll get on board with that all day.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size M in these. That seems to be his standard fit across the brand. The cinch back allows for purchasing in a multitude of sizing. We recommend you snag your true size in these as the leg opening is a bit roomier. But, you really can't go wrong if you're looking for cozy, straight pants if you're stuck between sizes. Both will likely do the trick. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40" chest.
