Sweatpant - Double Heavyweight French Terry - Sage

Wonder Looper’s Double Heavyweight French Terry Sweatpants take their wildest knit yet and turn it into an everyday essential. Made from an 876gsm French terry that’s nearly twice the weight of a standard heavyweight, these are built on low-gauge circular knitting machines in Wakayama that create an irregular, dimensional texture outside and huge soft loops inside. Even with all that mass, they feel easy on the body thanks to ribbed side panels that add movement and shape. The fit lands in a modern straight leg with a clean profile, topped off with an elastic drawstring waistband, slash pockets, and a single rear patch pocket. It’s an overbuilt sweatpant with that signature Wonder Looper magic - substantial, structured, and undeniably comfortable. Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy wears a size large in the pants. This is considered an athletic fit which reads to us as a roomier, more American cut. It's not often we see Japanese brands with that sort of cut, but the Wonder Looper owners built this brand with specifically that in mind. The medium fits him, but he prefers the roomier nature of the large in the legs. The pants have a drawstring, so you have the luxury of going between sizes but the large has to be fully cinched to fit him. Tommy is our standard fit model at 5'9," 165lbs with a 40" chest. His typical North American size is medium and Japanese size is large.
