1301-HBB - Army Pants Herringbone Denim - Black

This is essentially Post O'alls stripped down painters pants even though they're not calling it that. There are some obvious differences in the angled front patch pockets and the bar tacks used throughout. They also have a cinch back which isn't part of a standard painters.Post describes them as a "lost" model meant to accompany the 1204 Army Shirt. They were worn from the 1910s-1930s. What we really enjoy about these, as we do with everything they make, is that it can be modernized so easily with the rest of the collection. Something worn 80-100 years ago can be made to feel contemporary, and we'll get on board with that all day. Our favorite detail has to be the fabric though. We've only seen it once before, and it disappeared in a matter of days. You can really see the difference in color in the herringbone when you flip the cuff revealing the lighter gray mirrored on the back of the fabric. These are a work of art.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size M in these. That seems to be his standard fit across the brand. The cinch back allows for purchasing in a multitude of sizing. We recommend you snag your true size in these as the leg opening is a bit roomier. But, you really can't go wrong if you're looking for cozy, straight pants if you're stuck between sizes. Both will likely do the trick. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 33-34" waist.
