LP-1180-2 - Stitch Stripe Sashiko Comfortable Trousers - Indigo x Thin Stripe

The LP-1180-2 from Pure Blue Japan is built from a custom-woven indigo jacquard that takes inspiration from traditional sashiko but pushes the idea in a new direction. Instead of the broad hand-stitched look, this fabric features much finer, tightly spaced stitches that create the impression of dotted lines across the surface. The effect is both subtle and textural, offering depth that reveals itself up close while remaining versatile from a distance. Indigo dyeing gives the trousers a rich base that will evolve with wear, picking up character as the dotted stitch pattern fades at a different rate than the ground cloth. The trousers are cut with a comfortable, easygoing fit and detailed with tonal construction stitching. Classic workwear elements like front slash pockets, patch back pockets with PBJ’s signature indigofera leaf embroidery, and a sturdy nickel button closure round things out.
