16.5oz - Sakura Slub Selvedge - Weird Guy

I don't know if anyone reading this remembers the OG Sakura Selvedge Naked & Famous released, but it was a historic launch. Like many rare things, we have to let them stand in time as a moment to be remembered but not repeated. This Sakura Slub launch pays homage to the original while being its own piece of history. Recently having gone to Japan, the Sakura season that inspires this denim lives up to the hype. Sakura season should be one of the seven wonders of the world. This gorgeous fabric is packed with the uneven, bumpy yarn that creates texture with just a hint of Sakura. It creates a pair of pink denim that doesn't scream at you. It's super easy to wear, as if it were a normal pair until you get close and that Sakura comes to life. At 16.5oz, these are at that wonderful weight that lets you know you're wearing selvedge. It'll shape perfectly to your leg without taking tons of time to break in. These feature that incredible short slub that fades like a champ, all while having a hint of cherry blossom to make them extra special. We don't expect these to last any longer than the last round of Sakura Selvedge.

A variance of +/- 0.5" (1.27cm) is within tolerance.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 waist in these. At 16.5oz, these still have a fair amount of starch that gives a wonderful shape to the denim. The 33 was a great fit this round. It wasn't too tight or too loose, so kind of in the goldilocks zone for both fits. The weird guy has a nice bit of taper, so keep that in mind when looking at the measurements. We would recommend buying one size up from what you're used to from regular denim, and buying your true size if you already know your N&F fit. Tommy is 5'10", 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
