Built with a new fabric this year, the same as you'll recognize from the fatigue pants - 100% cotton reverse sateen. These strike a balance between crisp structure and soft flexibility. The dark olive brings a classic, retro look that works across a wide range of wardrobes, while the relaxed silhouette offers serious comfort without feeling sloppy. All the familiar New Yorker details are here - elastic waistband, internal drawstring, and simple pocket layout - but the proportions have been widened throughout for a more contemporary, casual drape. Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a (3) in the pictures. He's found that he can wear a (2) or (3) in almost every fit, but prefers a little more room in nearly everything. These were an easy fit in the waist because of the elasticity. We recommend buying the size that looks best for your legs. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with between a 33-34" waist.
