S100NAJ25 - Elemental Flannel Jacket - Black

This flight jacket is built from Elemental flannel woven in Niigata Prefecture, a region long respected for its mastery of yarn-dyed fabrics. The flannel is made using exceptionally thick yarns normally reserved for heavyweight denim, giving the fabric real substance without sacrificing softness. To reinforce durability, the warp yarns are twinned for added strength, while slub yarns are used in the weft to introduce a rough, uneven texture. After weaving, the fabric is lightly brushed, creating a surface that recalls wool serge despite being entirely cotton. While the design is rooted in a classic A-1 style flight jacket, it carries over the toughness of a work shirt through robust construction details like triple-stitched rolled seams, resulting in a piece that feels both purposeful and quietly refined.

Fit Notes: This jacket is cut in a more traditional Japanese way, meaning it's a bit smaller. Tommy is wearing a large in this piece, and while it fits it may be more tailored than some want for a jacket. He could easily wear a size XL. We would recommend snagging one size up if you want to layer. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
