SJST-TW01 - 10/2 Extra Heavy T-Shirt - Green

The SJST-TW01 is Samurai's heaviest tee to date at 15.7oz, and the construction behind it is worth understanding. They start with #10 air-spun yarn, an open-ended spinning technique that uses only air to twist thick, short-staple cotton fibers together. The process produces a naturally slubby, irregular yarn that carries real texture before it's even knitted. From there, the yarns are doubled to create an effective #5 weight, giving the fabric a heft and density closer to heavy denim than conventional jersey. The layered dyeing adds another dimension, a tone that shifts slightly depending on the light and continues to develop with wear. The fit is boxy and balanced, finished with a reinforced two-needle binder neck built to hold its shape. This is a tee that takes a few washes to fully come alive, and then it's yours for a long time.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Normally, t-shirts run pretty small from Samurai. This one was more on the roomy side. Tommy easily wore a large for the photoshot and liked the fit a lot. We do not expect these to shrink up much because of the heavy wash process. We recommend you stick with your true size. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
