Higonokami continues the Japanese tradition of Higo knives, a style of Japanese pocket knife, with the Higonokami Folder. Crafted at Nagao Kanekoma Factory, which has been manufacturing Higo knives since 1894, the Higonokami Folder’s blue paper steel is extremely durable.

Blue paper steel, named after the blue wrapping paper traditional manufacturers present it in, is made from high-quality steel with alloys added to the edge for extra toughness and durability.

This blade features no lock but uses tension to hold itself in place.
