The Double Heavyweight French Terry Pullover Hoodie from Wonder Looper takes their wild 876gsm knit and turns it into one of the most substantial hoodies we’ve ever put on the floor. Knit in Wakayama on low-gauge circular machines, the fabric has that signature irregular surface and the big, plush loops that make this series so addictive. The weight alone gives the hoodie an almost structured drape, while the raglan sleeves, ribbed side panels, and flat-seam construction keep it surprisingly wearable. The fit lands in that sweet spot - athletic, clean, and incredibly comfortable - with a drawstring hood and a handwarmer pocket rounding it out. It’s everything we love about Wonder Looper’s technical knitwork, turned up to its absolute limit.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size large. This is considered an athletic fit which reads to us as a roomier, more American cut. We rarely see Japanese brands with that sort of cut, but the Wonder Looper owners built this brand with specifically that in mind. The large fit with plenty of extra room in the chest, hem, and arms. The set-in sleeves also help to give a perfect fit in the shoulders in almost any size. Tommy is our standard fit model at 5'9," 165lbs with a 40" chest. His typical North American size is medium and Japanese size is large.
