The ONI Denim 03502N-LS13.5 Long Slub Denim Coverall is built from a fabric that takes the brand's founding obsession to its logical extreme. The 13.5oz Long Slub Denim is woven at low tension on vintage power looms using slub yarns of varying thicknesses, pushed to the absolute limit of what the machines can handle, to the point where the craftsmen themselves describe the result as ONI-YABAI, meaning this is insanely crazy. That reaction is where the brand's name comes from, and this fabric is the clearest expression of it. The bold, irregular surface texture is unlike anything produced at standard tension, and as the denim wears in it develops strong spot fading and rich indigo gradations that map directly to the fabric's structural irregularity. A year-round weight with a presence that is anything but ordinary.
