12.2oz - Maekake Dobby - Chore Coat

The Naked & Famous Maekake Dobby takes its name and its weave density from the maekake, the traditional aprons worn by sake merchants and Japanese laborers that were woven tight enough to stand up to sharp tools, heat, and sustained heavy use. The 12.2oz Japanese dobby fabric maintains that structural density while a fabric rinse treatment softens the hand from first wear and coaxes out the layered indigo tones, allowing subtle gradients to develop across the surface over time. Cut in the True Guy silhouette, a straight leg with a regular rise and extra room through the seat and thigh that falls clean from knee to hem. A Horween Cavalier Ink Blue Chromexcel leather patch pairs a deep indigo hide with the denim, two materials that will age in conversation with each other the longer you wear them.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a large in this jacket. That is his standard Naked & Famous jacket size. Usually, the chore coat is a little roomier, but he liked the look of the chest on the L better than the M. We would recommend grabbing your normal N&F size on this one. Tommy is 5'9", 165lbs with a 41" chest.
