13oz - Brown Fox Selvedge - Weird Guy

The Brown Fox Selvedge is a 13oz Japanese selvedge denim made entirely from organic FoxFibre® cotton, grown in California by cotton breeder and environmental pioneer Sally Fox. This fabric contains no dyes or bleach. Its warm brown tone comes directly from the cotton plant itself.

Sally Fox began her work in the 1980s, selectively breeding heirloom brown cotton with white Pima to create long-staple, naturally pigmented fiber that could be commercially spun. Her innovation eliminated the need for chemical dyes, dramatically reducing environmental impact and paving the way for sustainable color-grown cotton.

The FoxFibre® used here is grown using regenerative organic farming methods, making it one of the cleanest cotton sources on the planet. Once harvested, the yarns are spun in Osaka and woven in Okayama, Japan, using an undyed natural warp and naturally brown weft. The result is a soft, earthy-toned denim with subtle texture and depth that evolves beautifully over time, darkening and developing a rich patina with wear.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size down to a 34 in these. They feel hefty even though they're only 13oz. Admittedly, Tommy probably went up one too many times in this pant on all fits. He would likely size a 33 in these if purchasing which is his standard Weird Guy Naked & Famous size. He is 5'10", 162lbs with a 33-34" waist.
