13oz - Galaxy Selvedge Jeans - Strong Guy

The Naked & Famous Galaxy Selvedge is a 13oz Japanese selvedge denim that earns its name through the fabric rather than any graphic or treatment. The nep-heavy weft introduces small clusters and knots of unmilled fiber into the weave that scatter across the surface like stars, producing organic irregularities and surface highlights that read differently in every light. The weft itself is dyed so deeply that it reads several shades darker than the warp, sitting close enough to black that you could almost convince yourself it was, and as the fabric fades over time, the contrast between the two will produce electric blue highlights that make the nep texture even more out of this world. The addition of rayon softens the hand and enhances the drape in a way that cotton alone at this weight cannot match, but the fabric still carries a nice starch and the "true denim" feel that lets you know exactly what you're wearing. When cuffed, the interaction between the nep accents and the interior weave becomes even more pronounced, revealing a more dramatic surface on the reverse that makes rolling the hem worth doing. A Horween Blue Cavalier Ink Chromexcel leather patch, black hardware, and button fly close out a denim that rewards the closer look.

Fit Notes: These fit like a standard pair of Strong Guys. Tommy is wearing his normal size 33 in the photos. We would recommend you grab your normal Naked & Famous size. Tommy is 5'9", 160lbs with a 33-34" waist.
