14oz - Wendell Gunpowder Selvedge Double Knee - Soot Black

The Indigofera Wendell in Gunpowder Soot Black is a 14oz raw selvedge trouser built for the kind of person who wants their clothes to do the work of developing character rather than buying it pre-baked in. The fabric arrives completely unwashed, preserving every original property of the cloth, and from there it adapts to the wearer over time, developing a patina and drape that belongs entirely to whoever puts in the hours. The deep gunpowder and soot black colorway gives it a versatility that raw denim rarely achieves, working as naturally with a simple tee as it does with a more considered workwear outfit. Square back pockets, a button fly, and the characteristic Indigofera Gryphon leather patch at the back pocket keep the details honest and the workwear references intact.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 in the pics. He used to wear a 32, but prefers a little more room in the waist. That is definitely welcomed due to these pants feeling rather stiff to start. The gunpowder denim is a little less heavy than previous 14oz iterations, but will still require some break-in. We recommend sizing up at least once in these.Tommy is  5'9," 165lbs with 33-34" waist.
