2052-2 - USN Shawl Collar Herringbone Coverall - Black

The Fullcount 2052-2 USN Shawl Collar Herringbone Coverall in black takes the same 1940s Navy-inspired shawl collar silhouette as the indigo denim version and cuts it from a black military herringbone woven with 10-count yarn. Herringbone carries strong workwear associations from Army surplus culture, but Fullcount's decision to put it into a Navy coverall silhouette is exactly the kind of crossover that shouldn't work as well as it does. The zig-zag weave gives the fabric a different drape and texture than denim, lending it a more utilitarian character with a slightly sharper edge than the indigo version without ever trying too hard to be anything other than a great coverall. Relaxed fit, cropped length, wide sleeves, and anchor-engraved change buttons carry the naval reference through to the details.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 42 in this jacket. The coverall is once again a bit of a boxier fit, so he was able to wear his typcial size of a 42 or Large. We recommend you stick with your normal size on this one. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 41" chest.
