The Merz b. Schwanen 2M15C is the cropped counterpart to the new 2M15, both of them introduced as the modern evolution of the beloved 215. Where the 215 achieves its straight fit through seamless tubular loopwheeling, the 2M15C introduces side seams that shape the garment more organically to the body, broader in the shoulders and shaped at the waist for a natural drape that works with contemporary proportions without losing any of the brand's mid-century authenticity. The 230g cotton jersey is made on an original 1960s jersey machine in Germany, the same production lineage that defines everything Merz produces. Triangle inserts under the arms add ease of movement, baseball stitching at the hem and sleeve hems carries the mid-century reference through to the finishing details, and the cropped length gives it a modern sensibility that pairs as naturally with vintage pieces as it does with anything current.
