4619 - 14oz "Kasezome" Indigo Sashiko Selvedge Jacket - Type II

The Studio D'Artisan 4619 Type II Jacket takes the same extraordinary 14oz Kasezome selvedge sashiko fabric from the 1907S pant and puts it into one of workwear's most iconic silhouettes. The extreme density weave, hank-dyed through to the core with a high concentration of indigo at both warp and weft, produces a surface with a rich, knurled texture that will age and fade in that distinctly layered, nuanced way that sets kasezome dyeing apart from conventional indigo. A one-wash finish removes shrinkage and softens the hand without undercutting the fabric's raw character. Original metal button opening, engraved copper male and female rivets, adjustable waist buttons, and a deerskin leather patch round out a jacket built to the same obsessive standard as everything else SDA produces.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: This jacket runs true to Studio standards, meaning it's a bit small. Tommy is wearing a size 42 in the pictures for a bit more traditional Type II fit. If he were going for a more comfy, cozy fit he could easily wear the 44. We would recommend you go up at least once in this piece. The wash shrank it a little more than usual. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
