4622 - Sukajan Jacket - Indigo Dyed

Studio D’Artisan Indigo Dyed Sukajan Jacket is a souvenir jacket built the right way, rooted in the post WWII sukajan tradition but executed with SDA’s fabric obsession and embroidery work. The real hook is the original indigo dyed cotton/rayon satin, it has that smooth, glossy surface and drape you want from a sukajan, but the higher cotton content gives it more structure and a more substantial hand. The chest and back embroidery goes big with pigs and dragons, stitched in two shades of indigo thread so the artwork has depth now and even more character as the indigo tones shift with wear.

Fit Notes: This jacket runs fairly true to size, but we choose to only buy the bigger sizes in this piece for a reason. Tommy is wearing a 42 in the pictures. We think this is a perfectly tailored Sukajan fit, but if you want a little more room you can go up one time. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
