A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 2 in these. As you can see, the fit is a bit wonky in the waist. These are so elasticated that they have a size range of 8-10" which is normally about 3-5" from other brands. If you fall between 25 and 37, you should honestly be good with these. We recommend sticking with the size that seems like it willf it you best in the waist. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 33-34" waist.
