5411-IDBK - 11oz Super Heavyweight Raglan Jersey T-Shirt - Indigo x Black

The Pure Blue Japan 5411-IDBK T-shirt is a heavyweight tee with a fading story built into two separate layers. The cotton yarns are selected for their rich, slubby, uneven hand and carefully indigo rope-dyed before the finished garment is sulphur overdyed black on top. When the fabric starts to fade it does so in two distinct stages, first at the black overdye level, then deeper at the indigo yarn level, producing a striking, electric contrast that develops over time in a way that single-dye fabrics simply cannot replicate. The slower, heavier knit process gives the slubby jersey exceptional shape retention and a flattering drape that the raglan sleeve construction amplifies naturally. No brushing or loopbacking on the reverse keeps things breathable despite the weight, and heavy-duty ribbing with a V gusset at the collar adds a classically athletic finish that holds up through years of wear.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 5 in this t-shirt. This was what most people would consider a perfect t-shirt fit. He also tried on the 6, and it felt to big. So we would recommend you grab your normal pbj size. We would compare a 5 to a size large. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
