D5746 - 12oz "Fox Cotton" Denim Work Shirt - Indigo x Foxfibre®

The green in this shirt was never dyed in. Foxfibre® is Sally Fox's work, the result of decades spent on her California farm breeding naturally pigmented cotton back into viability, reviving strains whose ancestry runs back more than 5,000 years. Conventional white cotton has to be dyed to become anything; Foxfibre® comes off the plant already carrying its color in soft browns and greens, grown free of chemical dyes and genetic modification. Studio D'Artisan has worked with these fibers for years and runs a natural green Foxfibre® weft here against an indigo-dyed warp, producing a 12oz denim whose color and texture come out of the cotton itself. Every strand of the fiber holds fine pockets of air, which is why the cloth manages to feel light while holding warmth, dries quickly, breathes well, and naturally resists UV, and it gives the hand a softness that stays gentle against the skin through a long day of wear. The shirt is built on the brand's work shirt pattern with workstyle chest pockets, side gussets finished with chainstitch runoff, and a tagua nut button opening, the vegetable ivory carved from palm seed that Studio D'Artisan favors over plastic.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 42 in this shirt. This is a perfect fit for him, and generally the size he goes with from this brand. While they do fit small in comparison to other brands, this is Studio's typical work shirt fit.
