The Henley - Foxfibre® Heavyweight Waffle in “Coyote 70” shows just how much depth a fabric can bring to a simple silhouette. At 502 GSM (≈14.8 oz/yd²), this is a serious heavyweight knit built for warmth and longevity, yet the airy waffle structure makes it breathable and wearable across seasons. What makes it remarkable is the fibre itself: Foxfibre®, a rare strain of cotton grown in New Mexico that naturally develops in earthy brown tones, without synthetic dyes. This version blends 70% Foxfibre® with 30% extra-long staple organic cotton, giving the fabric both rich colour and a softer, more flexible hand.

Foxfibre® has a story all its own, pioneered by Sally Fox in the 1980s to revive naturally coloured cotton at scale, and today it remains one of the most environmentally responsible cottons available. The fabric’s depth of tone is permanent, resisting fading while still picking up a lived-in character as the knit relaxes over time. Combined with the wide, open waffle knit, the result is a henley that feels dense in the hand but soft on the body - built to age gracefully.

Raglan sleeves, real horn buttons at the binder collar, flat seams, and a curved hem complete the piece. Every stitch is finished in Wakayama, Japan, ensuring the same careful balance of function and craft that Wonder Looper has become known for.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size medium this round. These are fitting quite bigger than the t-shirts, so most people are going to want to go with their true size, which may be one size dwon from what you normally wear in wonder looper. He is our standard fit model at 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
