JM8488 - OX Award Jacket - 171 Dark Navy

The OX Award Jacket is built from a densely woven 100% polyester fabric made with thick yarns, giving it a supple hand, muted luster, and firm structure. The silhouette is boxy with roomy armholes and draped sleeves for ease of movement. Traditional award jacket paneling is used throughout, paired with a wide single rib neckline that sits clean without folding. The lining features an original baseball quilt, with interior storage including a vertical pocket and a flap square pocket. Patch hand warmer pockets are lined with soft flannel, and the custom-developed polyester rib maintains structure while resisting stretch fatigue. It's an extremely clean silhouette with subtle details like the snaps, making all the difference in this Made in Japan jacket.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large by rule from Jackman. He likes the roomier fit. His size and weight would make him a Medium, but the large fit perfectly for his style. The Award Jackets have always had a more tailored silhouette, so we like to go up once. If you want to layer, we would recommend doing the same. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
