Lot 1001XX - 13.5oz 1947 Model Unsanforized Selvedge Denim - Indigo

The Warehouse Lot 1001XX 1947 Model Denim is a meticulous reproduction of the classic 1947 jeans, a pivotal year when denim evolved from workwear to everyday attire. Crafted from 13.5oz unsanforized selvedge denim, known as "Banner Denim," this fabric is woven in Japan using a blend of cotton from Tennessee, Texas, and Arizona, capturing the authentic texture and fading characteristics of vintage denim. The jeans feature a regular straight fit with a mid-rise, a comfortable thigh, and a straight cut from the knee down. Authentic details include iron buttons, a deerskin leather patch, pink selvedge ID, natural indigo rope dyeing, copper rivets, button fly, and twin-needle arcuate stitching on the back pockets. A variance of +/- .5" is within tolerance. 

This denim is unsanforized, meaning it is a shrink-to-fit. Due to this, we recommend buying 2 sizes bigger than the size you're aiming for on final shrink. Please keep in mind that after the first wash these will typically by approximately 6 cm (2.4 inches) in the waist and length.

Fit Notes:  Tommy is wearing a 32 in these pants. While these fit great for now, he would buy a size 34 in order to account for the shrink rate. Luckily this fit is quite roomy everywhere else, so if you can get the waist calculations right, you should be golden on the rest of the Regular Straight fit. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
