Lot JG-41 - Reinforced Striped Denim Overall - Indigo

The John Gluckow Lot JG-41 Strongarm Reinforced Overalls in striped denim are the product of a genuine obsession. When John Gluckow handed this vintage piece over to the Warehouse & Co. team, they were immediately hooked, and it's not hard to see why. The original garment was faded striped denim with such thorough indigo wear that you had to look inside the pockets and seams to find any trace of the original color, the kind of aging that only comes from decades of hard use. The fabric itself presented a puzzle: an unusual weave that put the Warehouse team's considerable skills to the test. What emerged is a shadow stripe denim, a light-ounce left-hand twill where the indigo base has been engineered to fade in a way that lets the stripe read as a ghost of itself rather than a bold graphic. The rear pocket reinforcement is the detail that sets these apart from anything else in the lineup, a construction technique Gluckow had seen on jackets but never on overalls or pants, reproduced here for the first time. Produced by Warehouse & Co. in Japan, as all John Gluckow pieces are.

Fit Notes:  Tommy is wearing a 32 in these overalls. They're a very roomy fit overall, but like any overall, you have the straps to hold them up. So you kind of want them to be roomy. We would recommend sticking with your true size on these. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
