LRH1042 - Loopwheeled Classic Henley - Classic Ivory

The Loop & Weft LRH1042 Henley Tee is built on the same rare Wakayama loopwheel jersey as the crewneck, produced on one of roughly 200 original old-style machines still running anywhere in the world at approximately one-twentieth the speed of modern knitting equipment. The slow, tensionless process preserves the inherent softness of the thick cotton yarn, producing a jersey that is denser, more elastic, and richer in texture than anything a modern machine can yield from the same raw material, and one that only improves with continued wear. The 1960s military henley silhouette is the starting point, with a double-stitched woven fabric placket and cat's eye buttons anchoring the front. The neckline is a vintage-style jacquard knit rib, knitted one collar at a time on a specialized machine with the same ornate, geometric character that defines Loop & Weft's collar work. Wide ribbed cuffs, 4-needle flatseam construction on a Union Special 36200, and a regular fit with enough room to layer or wear on its own complete a shirt that rewards the kind of attention it took to make.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size XL in this henley. As you can see from the charts, this brand fits a little smaller than others. He decided to size up once more in these shirts this round because of their slim nature. We recommend you do the same. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 41" chest.
